Will they blind oncoming traffic? Not if your headlights are aimed correctly. This kit retains the projector cutoff pattern. In fact, it's possible your headlights are aimed too low if your front suspension is sagging!

Warning...nerdy details ahead: HID bulbs work by creating an electric arc between two electrodes inside a gas-filled bulb. This arc generates both visible light and heat. A significant portion of the electrical energy is converted into heat due to the nature of the arc, and this heat is radiated from the bulb. On the other hand, LEDs generate light through a process called electroluminescence. When electrons recombine with electron holes within the semiconductor material of the LED chip, photons are emitted. This process is generally more efficient in converting electrical energy into visible light, resulting in less heat production compared to HID bulbs. So the additional power consumed by the LED creating heat is offset by the improvement in efficiency.
